Purple Hollow Flower Farm

9 minute drive –  Nestled in rolling hills, is home to multiple cultivars of French and English lavenders, speciality cut blooms and gorgeous sunflowers. Their farm store is open Friday-Sunday selling soaps, lotions,dried lavenders and seaonal fresh bouquets. (open seasonally)

Still Fields Brewery

13 minute drive – An all oak brewery set on 22 acres of farm land. Crafting creative, experimental, spontaneous, and wild beer. Enjoy their patio and weekend events!

Coffin Ridge Winery

12 minute drive – Open for in person dining & shopping Tuesday – Sunday. Reservations recommended. 

The Roost Winery

31 minute drive – A winery on the fringes of Ontario’s winemaking territory, in The Blue Mountains, Ontario. Open seasonally May – November.

Pom Poms

10 minute drive – Store front location in downtown Meaford, serving up amazing ice cream other frozen treats, coffees, juices, and good times. Grab a treat and stroll the beautiful waterfront! (open year round)

Good Family Farms

11 minute drive – On their farm they grow crops and pastured animals in a regenerative manor. They have a farm store where you can purchase grass fed beef, pastured pork, chicken, and eggs. You can book a farm tour through their website and get behind the scenes of where your food comes from!

10 minute drive – Looking for an easy way to tour downtown Meaford? Rent a bike, e-bike, e-scooter, snowshoes, and paddle boards by the hour or daily. Drop by Hills for more details.

23 minute drive – Free Spirit Tours provides caving, paddling, rock climbing, or kayaking rentals and excursions.

32 minute drive – Sit on the spacious patio, with a postcard-worthy view of the Niagara Escarpment’s Old Baldy cliff face. Expect a menu of fresh, simple plates that lean hard on local bounty.

Bruce Wine Bar

Located in Thornbury, Bruce Wine Bar offers wine classes and carefully curated menu items for lunch and dinner with their specialty wood fired pizza! Open Tuesday – Saturday. 

TO HIKE

Old Baldy

34 minute drive – Enjoy this 4.3-km loop trail near Grey Highlands, Ontario. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 1h 24min to complete. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime.

Bognor Marsh

11 minute drive – One of the largest marsh systems in Grey County, this area is 668 hectares of escarpment upland forests, three major marshes, Ducks Unlimited dam, Bruce Trail access, reforested areas, and several small springs.

Trout Hollow Trail

9 minute drive – The trail is a walking trail, through mostly private property, along both sides of the Bighead River.

CHASING WATERFALLS

Indian Falls

25 minute drive – The main natural feature of this site is the 15 metre horseshoe shaped waterfall, named after the Newash tribe who lived in this area at one time.

Inglis Falls Hike

20 minute drive – One of three waterfalls that surround the City of Owen Sound, Inglis Falls is the best known and most visited.

Jones Falls

22 minute drive – Jones Falls cascades over the escarpment 12 metres to the Pottawatomi River that flows into Owen Sound Bay.

Tobermory

1hr 34 minute drive – Located at the top of the Bruce Peninsula, Tobermory is a lakeside town surrounded by crystal clear water, the majestic Niagara Escarpment and is home to Flowerpot Island along with two national parks. The Tobermory landscape offers visitors an unparalleled experience.

Irish Mountain

8 minute drive – Picturesque Nottawasaga Bay, a part of Georgian Bay, rolling countryside below filled with apple orchards, and the niagara escarpment rising behind is the view from atop Irish Mountain.

Epping John Muir Lookout

20 minute drive – Epping-John Muir Lookout is a popular spot to stop and take in the view of the beautiful Beaver Valley located on Grey Road 7, just north of Kimberly. 

David Johnston Park

12 minute drive – Located east of the Meaford Harbour, David Johnston Park is a wonderful place to enjoy Georgian Bay. The park features picnic tables and accessible parking.
